State General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine has issued a public notice. From now on, prohibit hydroxybenzoate and other 33 kinds of products as food additives in the process of producing, selling and using. According to the Ministry of Health reply to the <Food Additives Using a Standard> (GB2760-2011) issues related : the AQSIQ decided that the provincial Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision will not accept these 33 kinds of products, food additives production applications for leaving from now on, including hydroxybenzoate, food preservatives, chlorine dioxide, food with disinfectant. Production license approved by the regulatory authorities will withdraw and cancel before December 20th this year. It is understand that 33 kinds of products involves hydroxybenzoate, hydroxybenzoate sodium, thiabendazole, sodium hypochlorite, chlorine dioxide, hydrogen peroxide, peracetic acid, trisodium phosphate, chloride, dodecane benzene sulfonate, sodium dodecyl sulfate, 1 - propanol, 4 - chlorophenoxy sodium acetate, 6 -benzyladenine, monoethanolamine, dichloroisocyanurate the nitrile cyanuric acid sodium, petrolatum, calcium silicate aluminum, succinic anhydride, adipic acid, adipic acid anhydride, formaldehyde, pyrophosphate, potassium, urea, triethanolamine, sodium dodecyl bromide (Bromogeramine), iron, five-carbon double acetal sulfite ammonium, iron oxide, silver, oleic acid, fatty alcohols, amides, fat ether sulfate. At the same time, all the food additive producers will be prohibited to produce these 33 kinds of products as food additives, and is prohibited to sell to food-producing enterprises as well.
